Audacity hissing soundI just started using Audacity to record music that I'm listening to on Spotify, and I get it to record straight off of my sound card in my computer. However, whenever I use it, as soon as I begin recording and without any music playing, there is a hissing sound in the background that records throughout the entire track. Is there any way I can fix this problem without using the noise removal tool, or is there something wrong with my sound card?
Thanks |

Re: Audacity hissing soundThat one's strange indeed. If you were using a mic, that's what i'd suspect. Do you maybe have an internal mic on your PC or even in a webcam that could be enabled?
