Poor quality problem with EasyCap when connecting xbox360 to my laptop

I have recently bought EasyCap to play my Xbox360 on my laptop screen (not to record the game play). After I set it up and opened "Ulead video editor" (the program it came with) I realized that the quality while playing is horrible. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to get the quality to high def or close to that. Or if anyone knows of another program to use instead of Ulead that will give me better results.

EasyCap is an SD card, so you won't get HD quality with it.
