Problem fixing FLV files from streamate.com

Hi, I'm desperately trying to fix some files that I recorded off streamate.com using Replay Media Catcher 4. I've tried all recommendations from this forum and methods (Fix FLV, Yamb, FLV Extract, flvmdi, and flvmdigui), but none of them seem to work.

My problem is that some of my recorded videos do not play. When I try to play it with GOM player, all I get is the audio. No video. Any other suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Many players do not support FLV files properly. Do you have the same problem with Applian FLV Player?

You may post your video or PM it to me, so that I can take a look.

Yeah. It doesn't seem to matter which player I use. I've tried Gom, FLV, VLC, etc. I think its the way its downloaded but an error message is never prompted. Not sure why some downloads are successful and others are not. What is the cause? Thanks for your help anyways.

Post a link and I will try to download the same stream.

You may also upload your file to some file sharing site, and I will take a look.

If you figure out how to fix it, consider this a gift but please tell me how you did it. I have a bunch that need fixing. Thanks to all who try.

Re: Problem fixing FLV files from streamate.com

all the video chunks inside the flv have the timecode 0.

I doubt there is any way to repair this file, manually setting the timestamps with fix flv doesnt help either.

On the other hand I can record (even download) from streamate just fine? was your recording a private show or something?? wouldnt be surprised if they added some copy protection there...
