Diamond One Touch vc500 problems

My Diamond VC500 is not recording video, I have plugged it into my xbox 360 and TV directly, at different times and it does not record from either of them. All of the cables are plugged in. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers but it does not work. I am running windows 7 ultimate. I receive a black screen and I can record sound from my xbox 360 but nothing else. When I try to play back the movies I have recorded windows 7 tells me that ez grabber has stopped working. I have tried to install ez grabber software to see if it fixes it but I cannot find a website to download ez grabber software from. PLEASE HELP im trying to make a montage :S

What kind of cable(s) do you use and how did you connect them?

I use the cables provided with the vc500, I do not use any splitter cables I record on my xbox after I have finished. There are red white yellow cables, all are plugged in, i checked the video cable and nothing is wrong to me(except the no video) and there is a black cable however I did not need to use it before when I could record on windows xp. Its only on windows 7 that I now cannot record. I do not use the black cables now.

Also I tried reinstalling all the drivers from the website and the software and it still won' work. When I try to play back it says ez grabber has stopped working? Do I need to install ez grabbers software? If so where can I get it because I have tried looking for it but all of the links don't seem to work.
