The DVD with WMV and/or MP4 is probably not a DVD-Video disc (unless it is a hybrid disc with both VIDEO_TS folder containing DVD-Video as well as some other files and folders).
Actually there are several choices here:
First of all, you can use
AnyDVD HD to rip a blu ray disk and then convert it into some other format like MPEG-4 .AVI video.
You can also try to remove DRM protection from the file transferred to your hard disk. What kind of file is that, MP4 or WMV? Or do you have both?
Anyway besides using
DRM removal software you can always use
screen video capture software. And actually you can capture video from screen while playing your blu ray disk.
