MPC doesn't have the problem. I also generally watch these on an old realtek rtd1185 based set top media player. I haven't checked playback on the realtek media player yet. I only checked in vlc to be sure that the mux to mp4 container went ok. The realtek media player does better with mp4 container than ts format. I'll save the original ts downloaded file too in case I need to redo the mux.
