@Palewing, where do you download shows to, from iView?

If it is the external USB-connected HDD then that will be a problem.

In any case, I would disconnected the external HDD and do a scan of your entire system, preferably a thorough rather than Quick, using Windows Defender. Make sure Defender has updated its data files first.

Windows Defender is my anti-malware software of choice for the last 3+ years (Windows 7, 8.1, 10). I long ago abandoned McAfee and Norton, and used AVG free for about 3 years before switching to Windows Defender.
Microsoft has been too nice to the anti-malware companies for about 10 years.

Once you have your main drives free of malware, it may be a good idea to do a system check using SFC. More about that later, if needed.
