ok, i'm not sure how but we can try to figure this out using his method. since you mentioned that now you have rooted phone, start with installing hotstar app, and then under play store search for network logger/logging app(see if this app requires rooted phone, this is what we are looking for). once you have logging app, open it and start logging and then open hotstar app and play any show that you know works without any errors on website. and then send me network logger output so I can also see whats going on.
