Re: Anybody want to crack the new code of WatchESPN streams (with 7 bars of quality)?
It looks like WatchESPN may have changed things up slightly? I can find a "multiple.m3u8" link but livestreamer doesn't like it now. Ffmpeg can pull it down, but then it's running into "Non-monotonous DTS in output stream" errors at halftime where ESPN has inserted a "commercial break." If you scroll the playback bar in ESPN3 past halftime, when it comes back for the second half, the playback bar restarts at the beginning.
livestreamer had previously been able to pull each of the chunks out of the stream and concat them correctly (ffmpeg isn't quite doing it), but it doesn't like this new "multiple.m3u8" format. Any ideas?
*Edit: It's also interesting that the replays I'm looking at are clean feeds (no scorebugs or graphics) and not the program feed you usually see. I don't think I've ever seen that on WatchESPN.
