HOWEVER, you CAN record youtube videos for 100% FREE using
Replay Media Catcher 's demo mode. Keep in mind, the full version does cost $39 or so, BUT you can use the demo to record unlimited youtube videos.
Sorry I don't recal the name of that program, But I hope this is a viable alternative.
