Deezer made a major change related both to its streaming process and quality making current downloader obsolete. All streams are currently 128kbit/s MP3s and URL generation process has changed. A somewhat similar streaming service called NetEase (music.163.com) has also applied new regional restrictions to its service, making both streaming and downloading HQ (320kbit/s) music outside of China impossible.
Another major service called Rdio was also recently shut down, also making downloading its high quality 126kbit/s AAC (almost equal to 320kbit/s MP3) impossible.
Grooveshark was also shut down last year but that's old news.
Spotify service is so well designed and secured that it's almost impossible to make anything out of it.
The only remaining services are TIDAL (WiMP) and Rhapsody, both of which have no non-premium subscription models.
The main point of this post is that unfortunately the future for any young stream ripper out there is not too bright currently (besides using unreliable and inefficient soundcard-based recording methods). New ways of high quality music stream ripping must be discovered...
