I'm currently uploading to a file host the AD copy of Dr Who (in HD) along with the subtitles file in .srt format. You can play it back with VLC media player and use subtitles option that you see at the top of VLC .

GetFLV can also capture iPlayer streams & it seems to produce files with slightly smoother playback than the ones obtained with Internet Download Manager. Unfortunately my trial version has expired so I can't upload the full episode captured with that. (And I can't afford to pay for the full version right now).
