i got a advice from a friend on instruction how to setup the DVR for remote view.

take a look and let me know whats your professional view?

1. Static IP setting
- change gateway value with gateway value from broadband connection details
- change DNS value with DNS value from broadband connection details

2. port forwarding setup on the modem router
- example "192.168.1.10...... port 80 to 80"

3. remote view by entering PPPoe ip address


but i skip all and entered DDNS setting with the dyndns DNS account info and DNS url and got the remote view to work back home and anywhere
until power interrupted and change the ip
