The reason I ask is because they say that they have digitally watermarked the videos, so they can telll where they came from. Im not familiar with Silverline, I usually record from encrypted wmv streams only.
Does silverline add any of my computers info into the video so that it can be tracked to my pc/IP? Sounds a bit bizzare if they would do this, but I dont know, there isnt even drm on the files they stream...seems too easy.
You know, i'm not a programmer of this type of software so I can't say for 100% certain. But from what I understand from Alex (the WMR programmer)...all they think is that you're just another happy customer watching their videos and they have no way of knowing if your'e watching it, or recording it..looks the same to them.
