Old YouTube Videos with Disabled Audio

I have a couple old (early 2009) YouTube videos. They weren't music videos; they were personal videos with music playing. Because of the music, YouTube disabled or removed the audio.

Did YouTube actually remove the audio, or was it just disabled in some way. If it is still there, but disabled, is there a way to re-enable the audio?

Below is the metadata from one of the videos.
