I updated from 17.1 to 17.2 via the program's updater. I can't explain why one day something works and the next it doesn't. That is up to the user to determine what they did/didn't do.

It can't be the program, as it works for myself, along with a lot of other people. You, your brother, your sister, your father, your mother, your boss, your son, your daughter, you goldfish could have blocked 443 on your router. Go check what is using 443. Skype tends to try to take control over 443. Do some investigation into what you're doing. Perhaps close every other open program that you can from within your task manager? Check via cmd using "netstat -b -a" to see what program could be blocking your access.
