What I do for our live video webcast is this: I use 2 cheap ($20) one sided computer headset mics. They are 3.5mm, so I got an adapter at radioshack so I can plug both in at the same time.They sound really great ,believe it or not. very clear and loud. Then I come out of the headphone jack in my computer and into my camera or recording device. This way you can get the same sound as what everyone else is hearing through the webcast. You can also control the volume of the output from the headphone jack, on the computer itself. Just your headphone volume in your settings will control it. It's a really great and cheap way to get great sound. Hope this helps. Let me know if it did. God Bless*
