I had the same issue with TubeDigger when I purchased it a few months back. Free trial worked fine, registered and got maybe a couple of dozen videos downloaded, then suddely would either fail immediately or only to a few percent before stopping.

I did find an alternative downloader in GetFLV, however that no longer works either. I beleive Flirt4Free have recently updated their system to stop these programes and none of the current developers seems to have an interest in persuing workarounds at present.
