Re: ISM Downloader - Download Silverlight videos and save as MKV files

Hi guys,

I have just grabbed a program yesterday with ismdownloader 2.0.0.0 beta. I worked great, but I noticed two problems, I'm not sure if you had similar issues:

- the download speed was _very_ slow: I suppose the servers were overloaded, but still, it would be great to have an indicator of the current speed, and if DVB Crew could implement multi-threading that might speed up the download process as well

- the created mkv-s have approximately 300ms delay in sound. Fortunately my media player let me set a delay manually, so I could watch the stream without a problem, but it would be nice to have an option in ismdownloader (or even better: detect the shift and set it automatically)

- as an extra, like others mentioned, we would like to have plugins to Chrome, Firefox etc. to detect the manifest files of streams.

It is not easy to find the tool nowadays since the DVBCrew's website is down. Is there any chance the DVBCrew makes it opensource somewhere like GutHib? Does anyone have a contact e-mail to them?

Thanks,
Andras
