IMHO lossless
DRM removal software like
FairUse4WM and
freeme2 are not very user friendly. And I'm afraid there will be no user guides for them that are meant for computer illiterate users.
As for lossy
DRM removal software like
Soundtaxi or
Tunebite (that just re-record sound or/and videos), their user guides that come with software or can be found on their homepages should be easy enough for a computer illiterate.
