I know it could be done because I am a member of an auto forum that has the same appearance as this one and has a private group. The group was set up to eliminate fights on the regular forum. If you want to mouth fight over something, you are told to take it to the "arena". That "arena" section has basically no rules, but to get there you have to contact the forum administrator and get special permission to have access.
