I don't really like the idea of recompressing files. Why losing quality?
In the overwhelming majority of cases music subscription/download services offer lossy audio format. And you want to recompress one more time? Well if you have no other choice, than it must be a good idea

TuneBite Platinum can remove DRM protection from video files (.WMV, .M4P, .M4V) as well audio files.
