After more trials last night of both wmr and mc I lean towards the simpler. I bought screencast a year ago and cannot figure out how to fix it, even after several emails with replay's customer service. I feel reluctant to get another product from them while I have their broke one.

In choosing between wmr and mc, it seems I will not get exactly what I want, yet close enough. I just abhor the extra work of cutting these huge videos to get a tiny section.

I do read other comments by newbies and find that many want the same things as me. When the makers of these s/w provide for us they will necessarily make a fortune from us dumb people. Much more plentiful supply of us than the sharp minded techies, don't you think?
