FLV Recorder and
Replay Media Catcher are the only programs I know that can record rtmp streams.
FLV Recorder has better recording idea 'coz it captures packets coming to your flash player. But I recommend Replay Media Catcher instead, because it is much more reliable for me, besides its support is great.

It is more like a question to NBC. You can upgrade your PC using Windows Update or from update.microsoft.com.
Just select everything related to Windows Media Player and Windows Media Framework and your system must be fine with NBC.
Many content providers force you to upgrade Windows so that
DRM removal software stop working. It is intended to be used with legally purchased files anyway.
