Unlike lossless DRM removal tools, Soundtaxi re-records your songs and compresses them using MP3, AAC or other codecs.

It is very unlikely that encoding process of Soundtaxi was improper. There must be some problem with MediaMonkey or some audio codecs on your PC. You can try to re-install them.

You can also try to convert your album to another format with Soundtaxi and try again.

BTW, do both your laptops have the same version of Windows?
