hi guys
i am trying to record our band's sessions live as follows but get NO SOUND recorded:
Mics going to
Xenyx mixer, from the Main Out of Mixer to
Aureon Terratec 7.1 USB (Line-in). final stop is Audacity 2.0 running on Ubuntu 11.10.
i can see & select 2 options in the Audacity preference menu for the Terratec soundcard, but still there is no sound recorded!
btw, inputs are coming from the Xenyx, but can't be detected in Audacity. should i use other Outs on Xenyx or Terratec or change something in Ubuntu 11.10?
