If you wanna use
FairUse4WM, you can try to
roll back Windows Media Player to a previous version unless your Zune software forces you to upgrade it without any choice.
You may also use other
DRM removal software. The latest version of
drmdbg works with IBX 11.0.6000.7000 and on Windows Vista. It is a command line utility. After running it on a DRMed file, you need to run drm2wmv or
freeme2 as well.
drm2wmv and freeme2 are command line programs as well. Luckily there are some automation tools for these programs, namely:
Automate unDRM, DecryptIt,
batch_FreeMe2.
The problem is that drm2wmv and freeme2 do not work with all copy-protected Windows Media files. Luckily freeme2 is under development so you can get some support for it.
