I don't think that
Debut is free any more - unless I was conned into paying (approx) ?25 to continue using it past a trial period. Of the several screen capture programs I've tried, it's the best - in the opinion of this very inexpert user!
Am now trying out
CamStudio on my netbook (not wanting to pay for another Debut licence), and it is working but am still working out how not to have to select the same region every session, but it's early days (Day1, actually
