I had the same failure. The solution is to create the startdk.sh file with Unix line-ending format. For this purpose, you must use a linux editor (i.e. gedit).

From windows, you can use Programmer's Notepad (http://www.pnotepad.org/). Configure it at Tools -> Line Endings -> Unix (LF).

If you want, try using the attached file. Just change the extension to .sh
