Im not sure that the big labels will play ball on this, just look at how services like zune have to really fight to get content added to their network, and to cover its licensing costs and be profitable zune has to charge a significant monthly fee. I dont see how this new system of rolling the cost into the handset manufacturer will deliver enough money to keep all those lazy music industry execs in coke and hookers. And unless the service is a massively popular they will lack any traction to be able to get the labels on board. And without content their will be no customers.
