Blu-Ray, Satellite TV, cable HDTV and game consoles like PS3 use HDCP protection, so you won't be able to record such content via HDMI.

You can convert HDMI to component video using HDFury2 and then record component video using Hauppage HD PVR, Blackmagic Intensity Pro,.... Both allow you to record 1080i or 720p videos, both don't support 1080p videos.
