I've just downloaded
WM Capture 5 and tried it on a BBC iPlayer recording I made at the weekend. Seemed to work just fine and I watched the replay successfully. However, I tried then to go into the program to tweak some settings and see if I could improve the on-screen profile, and also to read up on what it costs and how to buy it etc, but it seems to have vanished from my computer. Seems I can uninstall it, but there's no option to run the program (again). I'm running Win7 Ultimate.
Have I done something wrong, or is this what's meant to happen? I now can't do anything unless I uninstall it and re-download it, which seems extraordinary. On the strength of this I wouldn't buy it as it seems a bit flakey - even though the actual recording/replay (all two minutes of it) worked well.
