Amazon has plenty of Kindle apps: Kindle for PC, Kindle for Mac, Kindle for iPhone, Kindle for iPad, Kindle for Android, Kindle for Blackberry. But Kindle for Linux hasn't been released yet. Luckily you can install Kindle for PC on Linux using WINE.

1. Run the following in the Terminal:

   Alternatively
   1. Edit Software Sources and add

      add ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa

   2. Then refresh the list of applications in the Ubuntu Software Center.
   3. Search for wine 1.3 and install it.
