My library borrowed ePub ebook has expired. How to continue reading it?

I have borrowed an ebook from a public library. It has an ePub format. I dodn't manage to read it fully in 21 days. How can continue reading this ebook, although my borrowing period has expired? Is there any way to remove DRM from such ePub ebooks to remove remove expired limitation of public library epub books?
