I've used RM Recorder and Streambox VCR
with no problem. This video has no DRM protection.

Of course this video is far from DVD-Video resolution video and even photos from the latter are far from ideal. Just download the video (you may use any software that has a long trial period to record it for free) and see for yourself.

To watch Real Videos you either need the Real Player (you already have it, I know) or the Real Alternative. I prefer to use the latter. Real Alternative has a Windows Media Player Classic in its pack. It is very easy to navigate to the exact frame with it:
Just choose Play->Go To... from the menu.
