Yeah, I'm not thrilled by how Daniusoft software is marketed, but
Soundtaxi,
Tunebite and etc. all seem just as sleezy. If you had to use one of those programs (and if there really is no free software that works in a similar way) then which would you choose? If one of those software suites is better than the others for ethical or practical reasons then I'd love to hear why.
I don't have the right system environments to run either FairUse4WM or Requiem right now, and I'm looking for a more general-purpose solution anyway. I don't mind that re-recording is lossy; I'm just planning to use this for audiobooks so as long as I can still understand what the narrator is saying, that's good enough.
