I've just spent 2 days trying to get
rtmpdump working on Windows 7, XP, 2000 (server and workstation), 2003 (server and workstation) and Linux and 2.3 does NOT work at all! It seems to fail at the first response from the server.
For various reasons I cannot download and compile source code which leaves me using pre-compiled binaries.
nullacht reports that "v2.3 r563 works perfectly" but as yet I have been unable to find this version to test.
Looking at the
StreamTransport website they say way 6 to 8 months for a fix! So I think it is fair to say this joins the ever growing ranks of abandonware.
