I just want to thank Placebo for grabbing something off ITV Player for me on Sunday night [despite it being late]

GetFLV - I might look into it as nothing else seems to work any more.
I just cannot get my head round this
rtmpdump thing, even though I have downloaded all the bits and pieces for it, including something called Strawberry Perl, but I can't figure it out and just haven't got the time or concentration to learn at the moment
the only thing is, the videos I got in flv just wouldn't convert to avi or MP4 in Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate, or Any Video Converter Professional - and the first one usually handles anything.
So I had to use ConvertXtoDVD to convert the flv's to DVD format
and then use Auto Gordian Knot to get avi from them so I could join the 2 parts - as you can imagine, this took many hours and I couldn't use my computer for other things while it was being done,
but the quality was ok [infact the quality on the original flv was excellent, I was quite surprised]
