Semi-old post but I would like to revive it as I do have information on it.
They do use RTMP streams, here is an example URL of a paid stream.
They use authentication keys, but do allow for both low/medium/ and high streams

Replay Media Catcher 4) to download, just pop on monitoring, navigate to a paid page, click watch. And it will start downloading. It does download faster than the video plays, usually download an hour video in 10-15minutes (20mbps FIOS) on medium, I didn't test low or high.
If you plan to rip the entire contents it can be done in a day if you sit there for a good 15-20 hours straight so I'd recommend the month pass to not go insane.
Sometimes it will get stuck on "Sending CreateStream", just delete the download and refresh the page with the video playing in it and it'll try to download again but this doesn't happen often.
