Sorry for not providing more information. I am running a windows 7 machine, and have created a virtual environment (virtual PC) to run windows XP in. This has worked fine for the past three months until I got back from a three month holiday.
Now the issue is when I try to sign into Zune I get the error message "UPGRADE NOW - The feature you wer trying to use is no longer supported by the zune software on your computer. You'll need to upgrade to the latest software to continue"
When I go into check the version of the zune software it is 4.2.202.0.
I've downloaded both
http://www.multiupload.com/RL9D5CCLOT from the first post (expected to be 4.2) and
http://www.multiupload.com/LPKDX1S9RU from the second post (expected to be 4.7) and tried both following the instructions on the existing installation as well as wiping the virtual machine and starting from scratch. In every attempt I still end up with 4.2.
So I guess I don't understand why I am not on 4.7 when other people including yourself seem to be.
Anyone have any ideas?
