Thanks SR for the prompt reply. Unfortunately it is way over my head (knowledge-wise). I did download the dmg & user guide but I can barely understand the contents.
I was hoping there was a simpler way of capturing the video as, for example, there is to capture youtube movies by using the Activity Window to identify the download line & double-clicking on it to save the clip.
As a matter of interest, I pasted the link in your posted example
(http://www.marthastewart.com/show/the-martha-stewart-show/steak-recipes?video_id=ca89142df8c5b210VgnVCM1000003d370 a0aRCRD" -y "mslflash/flash/msshow_6013b" -o msshow_6013b.flv) and used the Activity Window capture method --- but it only captured the 12.7MB 30-second advertising file: (CPWM_Feb_MStewart_400x300_1297800251.flv) - - not the cooking demo that follows.
So it seems I'll have to buy again, reluctant as I am as I got stung last year buying
AVS4You - shelled out over AUD$80 only to find it was a copy of old freeware that couldn't do the job.
But I'll try the Jaksta you suggested. Thanks.
Look forward to any responses to the other 2 greeting card sites I enquired about.
