Having Problems in removing WMV's DRM with freeme2: Can't play undrmed WMV file

Hi,

i am writing here 'cause i can not remove the DRM protection of a WMV file.

Well, the Video file is about 6.60GB large and contains a film, which was bypassed in a magazine i bought in 2006.

The Video File is a Film which i normally should only watch one time, but somehow there is a bug in the software giving me the license more than one time. So, if finished watching the video, i only have to open the DVD menu and activate the license again for a secound time etc. etc.

The DRM Protection does not make any sense, even not is it protecting the film in a good way, 'cause in case i really wanna copy it for a friend, i can do it without any problems. He just even has to open DVD menu and activate license again and again - every time he wants to watch the film.

But i am tired of every time opening the dvd menu and activate again a license to watch it, so i decided to remove the DRM protection of it.

Well, in many forums i read many howto's and i really made the programs run:

I downloaded the latest version of FreeMe2 and drmdbg (2009-03-03). First i extracted out the Key and placed it to the root folder of FreeMe2. After i started FreeMe2 via cmd console. The tool is converting the film but after it finished, i cant watch the film neither in WMP nor in VLC. It seems to be corrupt.

I guess that drmdbg has worked fine though... But maybe not?

Where do i have to search the mistake??

thank you for any advice!!
