I found a new way to download Brightcove videos. I'm not sure how it applies to streaming, but if the Brightcove video is a standard mp4 video (or similar), I've got a simple solution.
Here's what you need -
- Safari 4+ and another browser like Firefox.
- You MUST disable or uninstall Flash Player.
- Safari's "Develop" menu must be enabled.
If you've got those three things taken care of, downloading and saving a Brightcove video is easy!
