I tried
GetFLV many times, and always get very low speed, and not only with RTMP/E websites, but with normal HTTP ones. For example with YouTube, I get 30-50 KB/s, as an average d/l speed; and 100-110 KB/s, as peak d/l speeds. And with RTMP/E sites like Crunchyroll, its even worse, I get 20-25 KBs as an average d/l speeds, and 30-40 KB/s as peak speeds.
It would be good if GetFLV has an options to split the d/l processes in threads, which would improve itself the d/l speeds significantly.
With other free programs like,
StreamTransport or
CooJah + Blader (which I can split the d/l in 10 threads), I can download with much greater speeds.
By the way, the program's GUI is very buggy and unstable, which makes quite difficult to use it.
I'm afraid GetFLV really needs to fix these crucial problems, if they wanna give some decency and quality to their program; otherwise, there are others excellent quality alternatives already available, and even great free ones, to choose from.
