If you don't like freeware software, you can always use commercial software like
WM Recorder,
Replay Media Catcher,
NetXFer,
WM Downloader,... See
All streaming media recording software for more.

Screen recorders will do the job. But they recompress online videos, unlike stream downloading / capturing software. Recording quality depends on the settings you use. All screen recorders are free or free to try, so you can test them and see whether they work for you or not.
