Great, now you are saying you have a soft spot for DRM on rental books. That doesn't make sense to me. This whole site is dedicated to stripping DRM without the motive for piracy. But when it comes to library rentals, the same concept doesn't apply?
I have a
Kindle and want to be able to read library books just like anyone else. Just because my electronic device does not support it, it doesn't mean I shouldn't be entitled to read the book. So if I strip DRM, convert the file, and then destroy the file after my rental period, what is the harm?
