Well, a work-around was to use a Windows XP machine on the same network. It has an
identical TP-Link wireless network card to the one in the Win7-64 machine, but URL Snooper 2 recognizes it as TP-Link on the Windows XP machine I used.
On the Windows 7 machine, it appears as an
Atheros device to Windows and other utilities like SIW, but
URL Snooper 2 doesn't even see it.
I will take the info from the
settings.ini file on the XP machine and fiddle with its corresponding file on Win7, and see if I have any luck (just out of interest).
URL Snooper 2 on Windows XP works well - less complexity than Fiddler, etc.
