Let's be clear, parts of the tutorial are outdated because rtmpdump has evolved (now at
Version 2.3). But knowing how it worked in earlier versions (2.2, 2.1,etc.) helped me understand how to use the current version 2.3.
Actually very simple to use. And you dont need any sniffer, right? rtmpsrv does the sniffing for you and it does the command creation for you.
Then you re-edit the hosts file back to the original state before you copy paste the ready (full) command line etc lala.
my god. downloading protected RTMP (RTMPE, RTMPS,etc.) streams has never been easier!!
