Ok so I had a go on one of the Mac's at uni and I got the same error as you did when I just double clicked on runme_first. I'm not really sure how to fix it. I tried changing the file to something like:
chmod 755 ./rtmpdump_universal
but that didn't work either. However if I opened a terminal, changed to the directory the files were in and ran it from there it worked just fine. The script didn't seem to give me any errors when running however I wasn't able to test it very well since it doesn't seem to be able to access the internet (probably requires proxy settings).
