There are many good
screen video capture programs. I recommend to use MPEG-2 or Windows Media codecs to get good quality. Of course screen recorders just capture from screen, so when there are streaming hiccups, they record them as well.
Personally I use
Replay Video Capture (
WM Capture). It gives good quality and my video and audio always stay in sync.
